Established in 1884, the town of Barberton was built and established during the gold rush.
The Barberton Museum is a historical gem where you will be able to discover and learn everything there is to know about the history of Barberton ranging from mining to geology to Swazi history.
Barberton is located 350km from Gauteng. The main museum is open daily from 09h00 to 16h00 and entrance is free.
